Born in Upstate NY, Anthony Citrinite, Professionally known as Ant Cee, began playing the drums at age 10. Moved to NYC at age 18 to study at Drummers Collective and search for a gig.
Ant Cee has been a resident of NYC for over 16 years now and has kept himself busy with music filled endeavours. In October 2001 Ant received a phone call from Tom Scholz of Legendary Rock Group BOSTON and was asked to join him and the current lineup at the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe Arizona to perform the Star Spangled Banner. Soon after, he recorded two songs for their upcoming album.
Currently his drumming can be heard on a number of Major Label Albums including Major Motion Picture Soundracks for Saw III and The Feast as well as The Smashup’s new release “The Sea and the Serpents Beneath” and Jason Walker’s “Leave it All Behind”. Ant Cee also played on the upcoming release from Deepa Soul that will be released in early 2011.
Ant Cee has also spent the majority of 2005 and 2006 circling the US, the UK, and Canada touring with The SmashUp on major tours such as Taste of Chaos, Warped Tour and Megadeth's Gigantour.
In November 2008 Ant Cee played percussion for Coheed and Cambria at their sold out "Neverender Tour" in LA and in September of 2009, Ant Cee performed live on the MTV Video Music awards, alongside Katie Perry and Joe Perry for their version of Queen’s We Will Rock You to open up the famous awards show.
Currently Anthony is the Owner/Director of The Collective School of Music( also knows as the World Famous “Drummers Collective” ) and performing regularly with a number of musical acts including The Cringe, Deepa Soul, The Bad Eliots, Engine Orange, Queen V, L2 (formerly known as The Labbadia Sisters), Jason Walker, and The SmashUp.
Ant Cee endorses MRP Custom Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Vater Drumsticks, and Evans Drumheads.
