Bio
Rain Bermudez was born in Guatemala City (the capital of Guatemala), raised in Honduras & the U.K., before finally settling in the U.S. At the age of 17, he discovered his passion for poetry. Inspired by such poets as Angela Davis, Tupac Shakur, Katherine Mansfield, Matthew Arnold & Sir Walter Scott, he became a regular poet at at Soul Salsa in Harlem and the famous Nell's on 14th.
Rain initially began his journey into music as a Hip Hop artist, but he had found solace in his poetry. Among his peers, Rain became a respected poet.
Now Rain was in search of a new sound.
Re-discovering artists such as Sly & The Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix & Steve Ray Vaughn while teaching himself how to play electric guitar, Rain formed his first band, Soul Experience, in 2001.
As the lead vocalist, Rain graced some of the best stages in New York (including a packed house in the world renowned CBGB's) and performed with such artists as John Popper (from The Blues Travellers).
In his time, Rain has played alongside some of the worlds best DJ's and has performed for Giorgio Armani's family. He is also ambassador to CAIN LUX, as well as lead vocalist of The Suns.

Desert Sun, also known as D-Major is letting it all go these days. His love for music, began as a child hearing his grandmother sing around the house and early remembrances of Bob Marley and r&b soul classics. But it wouldn’t be until adulthood that the rhythm would catch him. A student of Babatunde Olatunji’s best students he gravitated to the djembe and hit the subways. It was only after linking up with Rain, and feeling the collaboration did he decide to play the drum kit. Now armed with an arsenal of sticks and poems D-Major is coming above ground to shine like his bandmates.
